From October 1th to 11th, 2024 in addition to the Fringe performances there will be a series of cultural events, mostly with free entry, in performance spaces spread across various neighborhoods throughout the city of Catania.
“Off-Off” Catania will take over streets, squares, public and private spaces with numerous initiatives celebrating enjoyment, culture, and multidisciplinary arts. In line with the theme, Journey, this year’s Catania Off includes a series of professional tour guides which will lead audiences in a rediscovery of their city, through the places, stories, and legends that make Catania unique.
Artists of all kinds will perform in our Village Off and in surrounding festival areas, offering music, street performances, days dedicated to Journey and Poetry, and projects that will continue even after the Festival.

The VILLAGE OFF is the festival's headquarters: a meeting place for the stars of the Catania Off Fringe Festival, for audiences, and for industry professionals.
We’re continuing our partnership this year with SAL Borgo Creativo, a magnificent complex of repurposed industrial buildings. At the Village, you can meet participating Fringe performers, authors, directors, commentators, and guests of our various themed debates.
A major highlight for this year’s festival is the TRAINING PROJECT, offered to participating fringe artists. It includes four days dedicated to pitch sessions with industry professionals and a series of workshops with national and international experts in the performing arts.
CT OFF also has an OFF LIBRIS section; an area dedicated to contemporary fiction writers and texts related to our themes, such as Theater and Journeys.
